I made the wavy design by following a tutorial at Gotta Pixel under the “Ask Lisa” category in the right side bar (it’s called “How do I make wavy paper?”). “Ask Lisa” has quite a few tutorials that are really helpful, and I recommend them!  Please note that I put the wrong credit for this tutorial in my template file.  I credited June Schutrups at Cen’s Loft Blog because, well, because I was a dunderhead and had a brain fart!  That’s what happens when you try to do too many things at once.  😛  I’ll fix this.  If you download before I get it fixed, please note the correct tutorial credit, and accept my apologies.

I have another template available through the template exchange currently running at Stone Accents Studio.   For further info, go to the Stone Accents Studio Forum.  Enjoy, and please leave a comment!

New kit “Graceful Days” and a freebie!

June 4, 2009

I just finished a new layout using “Graceful Days” by Lisa Minor at Scrapdebris.  It’s another beautiful, classic kit – and the price is right, at just $1.00!  Here’s my layout:

Finally – the rest of Tender Whisper!

March 10, 2009

OK, so here it is.  I added the paper that was missing, along with a few more.  Plus, I fixed the “worn” paper.  It’s no longer a flattened jpeg with white at the edges – it’s a png now, so no white will show.  There are some frame clusters and a few more miscellaneous elements, too.  Here’s the preview:

New freebie Paper Pack

February 28, 2009

I know, I haven’t posted the rest of the Tender Whisper kit.  I’ve just been busy, like everyone else, LOL!  In the meantime, I have a paper pack to give to you.  I used the color pallette from the DSO February Color Challenge.  There are loads of gorgeous freebies, you can check them out by clicking here.  So far, I just have papers – I’ll probably make some elements later.

I got to test out some CU textures/overlays by Lisa Minor of Scrapdebris, and these papers are the result.  I don’t know if these are available yet, but she (and other designers) have some great things available at wonderful prices.  Check it out!

There are actually 21 papers, even though the preview only shows 20.  Here’s the preview:

Tender Whisper Quick Pages

February 4, 2009

I’m back with some quick pages made from the Tender Whisper kit.  I made a couple of the pages fairly plain – not so frilly – so they could be used for men/boys.

I also discovered that I mistakenly left one of the papers out of the kit.  So, I’ll be back with the missing paper plus a few last bits I’m going to throw in with it.   Be sure to check back.

So, here is the preview for the quick pages:

I had to break it into two files.  Here are the links:

Free Digital Kit “Tender Whisper”

January 31, 2009

I’ve been working on this kit for the DSO January Color Challenge, and couldn’t stop. I only put some of the papers and elements in the preview. There were too many to fit in one preview, and I didn’t want to make/upload more. Just trying to take a few shortcuts, lol! Anyway, here is the preview:

Here is the download link for the first part:

I’m still uploading to 4 shared. I’ll list the rest of the links when they are all uploaded.  You should check out all the kits made with this color pallette, they are fabulous!  Go here to see them:

I know it’s the *end* of DAC’s Blog Party, but…

December 7, 2008

I’m not done making the rest of the elements for this kit, lol! So, if you want the rest, come back later this week and download them.

I don’t know about the rest of you, but I have really enjoyed this huge blog party. Everyone made beautiful things (and so many of them). A big thank you to all the organizers and participants!

I goofed!

December 5, 2008

The brown flower I included in the element kit was a photoshop .psd rather than a universal .png.  Ooops!  So, if you want/need the .png, I have uploaded it to 4 shared.  You can get it here:

Sorry about that!
