New kit and a layout

October 10, 2009

Ooops!  Should have had this up this morning, things have been hectic.  Anyway, Lisa Minor has a new kit out, it’s called Sprout.  You can pick it up at Scrapdebris for only $1, and it has 11 papers, 19 elements.  This is another lovely, versatile kit.  Here’s my layout:

A riddle and a new kit!

August 31, 2009

I just did a double-page layout with the new kit “Septembers Blush” by Lisa Minor of Scrapdebris.  My layout poses a riddle:  when is a little girl like Chinese food?  See my layout for the answer, LOL!

Everything I used came from Septembers Blush, except for the pink flower, which came from Cotton Candy Girl, another kit by Lisa, also available in her shop.

Septembers Blush has a wonderful selection of colors and elements to suit any type of layout!  It has 14-12×12 papers, 13 brads, 1 flower border, 4 frames, 2 decorated frames, 1 clustered element, 1 beaded element and 4 tags! You can pick it up for only $1.00 at Scrabdebris!  Be sure to check out Lisa’s blog for more layout inspiration and a beautiful quick page freebie.  I have a matching freebie for you today, as well.  Here’s a preview of Septembers Blush, and the image is linked to the kit:

Some layouts and a freebie

August 3, 2009

I recently did a number of layouts for the July challenges at Creative Victorian Designs.  Each challenge had a piece of a beautiful kit for the posting bonus.  Anyway, I thought I would share a couple of the layouts here:

I was so happy to find that photo, it was taken when our youngest was about six months old.   The next layout was for  the quote challenge:

This next one is of the profile of my lovely niece, taken last year at a family reunion:

There were a couple more, but this next one was my favorite (done for the sketch challenge):

Another layout with Golden Afternoon

July 26, 2009

I’ve done another layout with Lisa Minor’s kit “Golden Afternoon,” available for only $1.oo.  It’s a double page layout about my great-uncle.  Everything is from Golden Afternoon, except for the vintage book by Wetfish Designs (Divine Digital) and 2 worn overlays, 1 by Studio Manu (Scrapbook Graphics) and 1 by Happy Scrap Girl (Scrap Matters) which I used on 2 of Lisa’s papers.
